Geest Line's port facilities in Portsmouth are modern, secure terminals tailored to the needs of a deep-sea liner service. At Portsmouth, Geest Line has a purpose-built 16,000 sq. ft. warehouse, a lorry park, paved container handling area and weighbridge, besides a considerable amount of temperature controlled storage for the banana trade.
Facilities are manned six days a week for receiving general cargo and quayside facilities including heavy lift container cranes that can handle up to 64 tonnes. The terminal, operated by MMD Shipping Services, is situated close to a motorway network that links Portsmouth with regions throughout the UK.
