NOTICE TO SHIPPERS & AGENTS

REVISION OF BAF (Bunker Adjustment Factor)

Since Geest Line previously announced a BAF increase in October 2007, the bunker price has continued to rise progressively and has been reaching record highs in recent weeks.

Regrettably we are unable to continue to absorb such major cost increases.

We therefore have to announce an increase to our current BAF, with effect from
mv Benguela Stream voyage 09, sailing Portsmouth Tuesday 5-August and
from Le Havre Wednesday 6-August, for all cargo to the Windward and Leeward islands.

The new amounts will be:

10’ container: US$ 238
20’ container: US$ 475
40’ container: US$ 950

Breakbulk cargo: US$ 18 per freight tonne.

Used cars

Up to 750 kgs: US$ 100
Up to 1250 kgs: US$ 119
1251 kgs and over: US$ 139

We thank you for your continued support.

CURRENCY ADJUSTMENT FACTOR (CAF)

Due to a sustained decline in the value of the US dollar since our previous revision in 2005, we regret to announce that the Geest Line finds it necessary to increase the present Currency Adjustment Factor of 8% to a new level of 11% to assist in contributing to revenue losses on US dollar based freight rates.

This new CAF percentage will be valid from:

Ex Europe: mv Santa Maria, voyage 89, sailing 17/4/2007

Ex Caribbean: mv Cold Stream, voyage 51, sailing 19/4/2007 – 25/4/2007

We will continue to closely monitor the situation and keep you informed of any further changes.

Thank you for your continuing support.
